    Robert Pawlewicz is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business. He earned a Ph.D. in Business (Accounting) from the City University of New York (CUNY) in 2011 after first becoming a licensed CPA and working for EY as an audit/advisory associate and senior in their Philadelphia and New York FSO offices. Robert's research interests include the markets for audit and non-audit services, the effect of regulation on audit quality, and audit reports. His current research projects focus on auditor-client misalignment, the quality of ESG disclosures for newly public firms, and the consequences of going concern modification errors. Robert has published his research in Contemporary Accounting Research, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Current Issues in Auditing, and Harvard Educational Review. Robert remains actively engaged with the public accounting profession and carries his passion for auditing into his classrooms.
