    Dr. Hamrick earned a Ph.D. in Management from Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business before joining the Robins School of Business faculty at the University of Richmond as an Assistant Professor of Management. His research often rests at the intersection of entrepreneurship and organizational behavior. Topics of special interest include the work-nonwork interface and leisure behavior, stress and well-being, workplace creativity and innovation, and the psychology of entrepreneurs. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Work & Stress, and Journal of Business Research, among other outlets. He teaches courses in entrepreneurship and innovation. Before beginning his academic career, Dr. Hamrick most recently worked as a defense attorney for the University of South Carolina’s Juvenile Justice Clinic and as an operations manager for Amazon.
