I teach Data Analytics, SQL and Process Optimization, and Healthcare Operations Management at the University of Richmond. Students develop the skills to prepare raw data for analysis of business problems and to create evidence-based actionable insights. The courses cover topics such as relational database modeling, creating relational databases, building SQL code, and transforming data into visualizations and data stories. Students build a comprehensive understanding of data tools (e.g., MySQL, Tableau, Excel's Power BI), predictive modeling, simulation strategies, and data mining techniques.
