• Furniture Policy – Please return any furniture to its original position if you move it.
• Smoking Policy – The University prohibits smoking, including e-cigarettes, inside classrooms and administrative buildings, residential facilities, dining areas, athletic facilities, and university owned vehicles. Smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of the outside of any building to prevent smoke and e-cigarette vapors from entering through entrances, windows, ventilation systems, or other means.

  Short-term visitors to the University of Richmond campus may connect their Wi-Fi enabled device to the 'VisitUR' wireless network for access to the commodity Internet and the public facing http://www.richmond.eduweb sites.

VisitUR' supports the HTTP and HTTPS protocols for general web browsing. It also supports the IPsec protocol for connectivity to a remote corporate VPN, for example. 

Please note that 'VisitUR' is not a secured wireless network and should not be used to send or receive sensitive information without another layer of protection such as HTTPS or IPsec. 

How to Connect

• Select to connect to the VisitUR wireless network from your device.
• If a browser doesn't open automatically, open a web browser.
• After being redirected to the logon page, please read the terms and conditions, accept them by checking the appropriate box, and click the Log In

Acceptance of the terms and conditions is valid for 24 hours, after which the terms must be accepted again.

• Supplies - participants in the program are expected to bring all necessary technology that you plan to work from (laptops, power cables, dongles/cords to connect HDMI, etc.). IF you use a video adapter for your laptop, you are responsible for supplying that as well. All projectors in meeting spaces can be connected to via HDMI.
