Phoebe Yu is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Richmond. She earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Wake Forest University and subsequently worked as a financial accountant at Inmar Intelligence and as a research assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received a Ph.D. in Accounting from Bentley University.
Her research interests include corporate disclosure, auditing, and the application of artificial intelligence and natural language processing in accounting. Her work examines how emerging technologies can be used to better understand corporate reporting, information environments, and audit-related decisions. Her teaching interests include managerial accounting, data analytics, and the integration of technology into accounting education.
