Robins Mentoring Program
One conversation can change the course of a career. Whether you're exploring industries, preparing for an internship, or making decisions about your future, having an experienced professional in your corner can make all the difference.
The Robins Mentoring Program connects undergraduate business students with accomplished executives and business leaders who are committed to helping the next generation succeed. More than career advisors, mentors serve as trusted sounding boards, offering perspective, encouragement, and practical insights that help students navigate both college and the transition to the workplace.
The program comprises approximately 50 senior executives and industry leaders who work closely with Robins School faculty, administrators, and students. Representing a wide range of industries—including investment banking, consulting, accounting, manufacturing, consumer products, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, technology, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit leadership—these professionals bring decades of experience and a passion for developing future business leaders.
Throughout the mentorship, students have the opportunity to:
- Build meaningful relationships with experienced business professionals.
- Explore career paths, industries, and workplace trends.
- Receive personalized career coaching and professional guidance.
- Gain insight into internships, recruiting, and full-time job opportunities.
- Develop networking and relationship-building skills.
- Discuss career decisions, workplace challenges, and long-term professional goals.
- Refine internship and job search strategies.
- Strengthen leadership, communication, and professional confidence.
- Expand their professional network through meaningful industry connections.
Each student is thoughtfully matched with a mentor based on career interests, professional aspirations, and shared experiences. These personalized matches create opportunities for authentic conversations and lasting relationships that often continue well beyond graduation.
The Robins Mentoring Program is one of the many ways the Robins School prepares students not only to secure their first job, but to build successful, fulfilling careers grounded in lifelong learning, leadership, and meaningful connections.
