Kirby Dugan, General Manager
Kirby is from Malvern, Pa., and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. This past summer, Kirby worked at Jefferies as a Generalist Investment Banking Summer Analyst and will return full-time to the Leveraged Finance group after graduation. Previously, she interned at FTV Capital as a Growth Equity Summer Analyst. Outside of SMIF, Kirby has served as President of Delta Sigma Pi, Vice President of Finance and Operations for Scholars of Finance, and Vice President of Finance for Kappa Alpha Theta.

Katherine Nguyen, Head of Growth Fund
Katherine is from Hanoi, Vietnam, and is pursuing a double major in Economics and Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. This past summer, she interned at Bank of America as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group. Previously, she worked at Edgewood Management LLC as an Equity Research Summer Analyst, covering AI cloud infrastructure and semiconductors. Outside of SMIF, Katherine is a member of the ETF Fund and the Block Crew dance team, and previously served as President of Scholars of Finance and Chair of Financial Affairs/SOBAC in WCGA. Over the past year, she has also been part of a fellowship mentoring Vietnamese sophomores across U.S. colleges who are pursuing careers in finance.

Alvaro Ledezma, Head of Value Fund
Alvaro is from Moraga, Calif., and is pursuing a double major in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance and Mathematical Economics. Over the past two summers, he has interned with Boston Consulting Group, gaining experience advising TMT and FIG clients on pricing and go-to-market strategy. Outside of SMIF, Alvaro serves as a Student Ambassador and is involved with Men’s Club Basketball and the Spider Private Markets Group.

Eli is from Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Latin American & Iberian Studies. This past summer, Eli worked at AlphaSights as a Client Services Summer Associate. Outside of SMIF, Eli is the President of Lambda Chi Alpha, a TA for Spanish language courses, and a member of the club ultimate frisbee team.

Lila is from Chatham, N.J., and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship. This past summer, Lila worked at MetLife Investment Management as a Public Fixed Income Summer Analyst in their Short Durations group. Previously, she interned in MetLife Investment Management's Institutional Client Group. Outside of SMIF, Lila serves as President of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity, and as a senior senator in the Robins School of Business Student Government. She is also a member of Tri Delta sorority.

Nicolas is from Marlboro, N.J., and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. This past summer, Nicolas completed the M&A Bootcamp Summer Analyst program at Harris Williams. Following that, he worked at Piper Sandler as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Services & Industrials group. Outside of SMIF, Nicolas has held positions in both his business and social fraternities and is involved in intramural sports.

Grady is from Haverford, Pa., and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. This past summer, Grady worked at SMBC as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Originations group. He has prior experience in product management at a SaaS communications firm and at a private equity firm. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, fishing, playing golf, and rooting for Philadelphia sports teams.

Previously, he interned at FlettExchange, a renewable energy credit brokerage. Outside of SMIF, Wyatt runs his own barbering business and is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order.

Taher is originally from Palestine and grew up in the UAE before finishing high school in Oklahoma. He is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Business Analytics, along with minors in Mathematics and Arabic. Alongside SMIF, Taher leads the ETF Fund at the University of Richmond. This past summer, he worked at Copernicus Wealth Management as a Multi-Asset Research Intern, and previously interned at Investream, underwriting build-to-rent real estate. Outside of SMIF, Taher is President of the Arab Student Association and plays soccer.
