Mishita Mehra is an international macroeconomist whose current research focuses on quantifying the impacts of skilled immigration policy frictions on firm behavior and the aggregate economy. Her research has appeared in the Journal of International Economics and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. She is passionate about teaching courses related to International Macroeconomics and Macroeconomics at all levels. Prior to joining the University of Richmond in 2023, she was an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Grinnell College.
