Assistant Professor of Economics
  • Profile

Kayleigh McCrary is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Vanderbilt University. Her work uses tools from formal microeconomic theory and causal inference to study political behavior. In particular, she studies how voters respond to the ease (or difficulty) of access to the ballot box and how policies like early voting and vote-by-mail affect such access. She teaches courses in the Department of Economics and the Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law Program and is passionate about teaching her students to apply economic theory to public policy topics they are excited about.
