    Neeraja Gupta is a behavioral economist specializing in labor and gender economics. She earned her doctorate from University of Pittsburgh before joining University of Richmond. Her research focuses on understanding the role of behavioral biases in determining market and policy outcomes. She works on a range of research questions related to the influence of gender stereotypes on labor market outcomes for women. Another line of her work contributes to experimental economics methods and more specifically towards expanding platforms for experimental research. Professor Gupta teaches courses in microeconomic theory and behavioral economics and strongly believes in experience-based learning.
