Train-the-Trainer

Instructor: Dr. Edward Jones

The training field is a continuously evolving environment—changing expectations from organizations and trainees, the introduction of new methodologies, fresh insights on the best presentation and planning techniques.

As a training professional, you are required to adapt your knowledge and skills to ensure your training programs are impactful and successful. Participants of the Train-the-Trainer program learn the essentials of the training function, while having the opportunity to directly apply the newly introduced content to their day-to-day jobs.

"I will apply greater rigor to our training agendas, present the material in new ways, and work with our facilitators to improve content delivery." - Financial Services Industry Professional

Whether you are a seasoned professional in need of a refresher looking for new approaches to deliver your programs, or are new to the field and are missing a strong foundational knowledge in critical training skills, the Train-the-Trainer program will leave your audience praising your training abilities.

"Dr. Jones is an inspirational trainer who uses his skills and teachings to better his students and ensure our success." - 2015 Course Attendee

The Train-the-Trainer program is organized into a three-module approach:

How Adults Learn
Discover what motivates adult learners and how to use their professional experiences to help them relate to the material at hand. The insights gleaned during this session will enable you to create a training climate that will make even the most resistant participant eager to learn.

Planning, Designing, and Evaluating Effective Training
The success of any training program is as much the result of planning and designing as it is the implementation of the program. Participants will learn how to create results-oriented training programs that they are able to apply the first day back on the job.

Proven Classroom Training Techniques
Sharpen your skills as a trainer by learning creative, cost-effective and actionable ways to conduct training programs more successfully, from introductions to debriefs.
